History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

Herman and Lois Arnett Dyer found the funeral home in Salyersville, Kentucky in 1991. They purchased the Mr. & Mrs. Buck Patrick home located on West Maple Street and converted it into a funeral home. Both retiring from the automotive industry they wanted to return home to Salyersville to own and operate a business.

In order to better serve their families and friends they purchased the Holbrook Enterprise property at 694 Parkway Drive, the current location, and turned the carwash, laundry mat and store into the current funeral home facilities.

In September of 1997, the staff added its second generation to the family owned business as grandson, Brian Michael Parker, was hired and currently is employed as one of our directors.
